Webfleet and MANTIS partner to deliver AI-driven fleet safety and risk intelligence

Fleets across Europe are set to benefit from a new era of connected video safety following a strategic collaboration between Webfleet, Bridgestone’s globally trusted fleet management solution, and MANTIS, the leader in AI-powered fleet video and risk-intelligence technology.

Building on a long-standing partnership, the collaboration integrates the MANTIS RECON™ Risk Intelligence System directly within the Webfleet platform, combining telematics, video, and driver behaviour analytics in one connected ecosystem.

Under the agreement, Webfleet customers will be able to access the MANTIS multi-camera solution, providing 360-degree internal and external visibility, within a single Webfleet subscription.

“This partnership represents a major step forward in delivering truly connected safety,” said Harry Girvan, CEO of MANTIS. “By combining our AI-driven risk intelligence with Webfleet’s telematics expertise, fleets gain the ability not only to see what happened but to improve the ability to predict and prevent collisions before they occur. Together, we’re redefining how fleets manage risk, improve safety, and reduce insurance costs.”

The MANTIS system captures high-definition footage using solid-state technology and self-healing storage, ensuring critical video evidence is always available. Its AI-enabled driver and road-facing cameras detect fatigue, distraction, and vulnerable road users in real time, empowering proactive coaching and rapid intervention.

At the heart of the system, the MANTIS RECON™ platform delivers instant access to live views, on-demand video, and automated collision reconstruction. Advanced analytics translate complex data into actionable insights, supporting faster claims resolution, reduced downtime, and verifiable proof for insurers.

“This collaboration marks another milestone in Webfleet’s mission to provide intelligent, integrated video solutions that enhance fleet performance and safety,” said Alex Crane-Robinson, Regional Director, Webfleet UK and Ireland. “Together with MANTIS, we’re equipping commercial fleets with the visibility, compliance, and intelligence they need to operate with confidence.”

Fully integrated within Webfleet’s environment, fleets can monitor camera health, receive proactive fault alerts, and share verified footage directly with insurers. The solution can also support Direct Vision Standard (DVS) compliance for urban operations.

This partnership strengthens Webfleet’s position as a leader in connected video telematics, while accelerating MANTIS’s European growth strategy, bringing its advanced risk-intelligence technology to a wider commercial-vehicle audience.
